Most have been paying tribute to WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder’s big win over Luis Ortiz last night – but not current WBO middleweight world champion Billy Joe Saunders.
Saunders has taken issue with comments Wilder was alleged to have made in the not too distant past.
Given the difference in size between both of these guys, we’re not going to see a showdown to resolve this anytime soon.
Middleweights and heavyweights are so far apart it would just never happen, obviously.
But that hasn’t stopped Saunders speaking to IFL TV YouTube (hat tip) here in an explosive manner outlining his problems with Wilder and what he really feels about him:
Explosive stuff there from Saunders.
A fighter never shy to give his true opinion and feelings on camera.
Saunders next fights on April 14th in a defence of his title against former world title challenger Martin Murray of St.Helen’s in the UK.
He last competed back in December when he shut down Canadian David Lemieux on points in one of the best fights of his career to date.
