An early rematch pre-training camp photo of GGG and Canelo has got boxing fans talking about who is in the better early shape ahead of their rematch on May 5th.
The fight was only officially confirmed in recent weeks so both men obviously have plenty of time to get ready for a fight still months away.
But some have already commented that Golovkin is coming in much softer than Canelo ahead of the rematch.
Similar to before the first fight it should be noted.
This photo doing various rounds on social media has initiated a lot of early conversation:

Here is some of the feedback from boxing fans thus far:
Can look a tank all he wants. He’s still going to be schooled again and this time no dodgy judging

Definitely an irish milk man involved along the way there

Looked like a tank last time, hit ggg flush on the chin and didnt shake him, hope we get a fair result this time

And @GGGBoxing looks like he’s just hopped out the pool and is about to check the steaks on the grill???. Cool as the other side of the pillow?

Hopefully gennady sparks him out cold, just because of the Byrd scorecard last time

I would guess Canelo weighs over 175, and he is not fat. He coukd be a light heavyweight with very little effort.

Canelo is a tank he is the more naturally gifted athlete and so so powerful. I fully expect him to win clearly this time

Thought it was Garfield the cat

The second fight will take place at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
