The live Deontay Wilder v Ortiz weigh in takes place today in New York ahead of this weekend’s WBC heavyweight title fight at Madison Square Garden.

The full card will take place on Showtime this weekend with the main event between American world champion Wilder taking on Cuban challenger Luis Ortiz.

The two have had a lot of bad blood in the build-up and the face off at this weekend’s final press conference said more than words ever could:

An intense coming together without doubt.

Wilder comes into the fight as a favourite – but not a huge one by any means.

The smart money appears to be picking a Wilder stoppage win but many feel if Ortiz is on his A-Game – that he has more than enough skills to trouble the champion.
