The Golovkin v Canelo rematch now at long last has a place to call home after months and months of negotiations behind the scenes for part two.
The original fight took place in Las Vegas back in September and you guessed it – the biggest fight in the middleweight division has ended up back in Sin City.
The fight capital of the world.
On May 5th the two fighters will compete in the rematch at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. An arena purposely built-in many people’s opinion for big time boxing.
The first fight had a lot of controversy with one of the judges last time out.
It will be up to both men this time not to leave it in the hands of any judges.
No doubt Golovkin will certainly be taking that mentality anyway.
Most felt he deserved to win the first fight but the bout was controversially scored a draw.
Well, on May 5th at the T-Mobile Arena, we now have a fight where he and Canelo will have a chance to set the record straight once and for all.
