Promoter Eddie Hearn was able to pick up on a more light-hearted request from one boxing fan this weekend after the fan bet more than he bargained for.

In more light news in the boxing world this week one British-based boxing promoter Eddie Hearn was able to pick up on a request from a fan that no doubt that fan didn’t expect to get highlighted.

Well, it did, and has gained quite the bit of reaction on Twitter too.

Earlier this week Ryan Burnett’s next world title defence was added to the Anthony Joshua vs Joseph Parker show in Cardiff on March 31st.

One passionate fan of Burnett’s before the announcement was made said to the promoter of the event Eddie Hearn:

Hotel booked, flights from Belfast booked and now tickets bought for @anthonyfjoshua . If @ryanburnett01 gets added to the card I’ll even clean @EddieHearn car ?

Perhaps he didn’t think Burnett would get added to the bill. Well, good ol Eddie Hearn hasn’t let him forget about it:

Class stuff. Obviously a joke but well spotted by Hearn.

The card on March 31st is now coming together with Burnett’s world title fight now also on it.

Joshua and Parker are currently in full training camp ahead of what is expected to be the biggest early pay per view fight in boxing of 2018 so far next month.
