Deontay Wilder Makes An Interesting Official Offer To Anthony Joshua

Deontay Wilder Makes An

Wilder is currently preparing to do battle with Cuban Luis Ortiz next up but the big unification fight with Joshua later in the year is the one he desperately craves.

As does Joshua to be fair.

Both guys know they’ll make a large sum of money for the fight and in equal measure satisfy both sets of fights fans on either side of the pond in a large heavyweight title fight between an American and British heavyweight arguably not seen since Mike Tyson vs Lennox Lewis.

On that occasion the Brit came out victorious but Wilder is totally confident that he can beat Joshua in today’s times.

So confident in fact that he told ES News YouTube he’s willing to accept whatever split offer he gets offered provided team Joshua take the same deal in the rematch:

“I’ll give him a deal. I’ll give you a deal. Whatever you deal you guys offer me, if I take it, the rematch, you have to take the same deal. Fair and square. Whatever the split is (in the first fight) in the rematch you have to take the same deal. I’m that confident.”

Whether this will happen in reality remains to be seen.

Joshua must first get past WBO champion Joseph Parker on March 31st – as well.
