Roy Jones Final Opponent Of Boxing Career Now Confirmed

The legendary warrior of the ring will step into the squared circle one last time and will have his fight shown live on UFC Fight Pass.

The move to UFC Fight Pass was confirmed earlier this week as UFC President Dana White looks to get started in boxing promotion very soon, with this bout looking like his first venture into the boxing world.

The bout will take place next month in Florida on February 8th and Jones will square off against Scott Sigmon for what is expected to be his last fight in the ring.

30-year-old Sigmon from Virginia will bring a 30-11-1-16KO professional boxing record into the contest.

The fight will be for the vacant World Boxing Union (German Version) Cruiserweight Title.

Jones turned 49 years of age only earlier this month and in recent years has been involved in a number of ventures but his main job at the moment being a commentator for the HBO network in the US.
To this day Jones is only one of two men to hold a world title at middleweight and heavyweight.
Jones will start as a favorite in the fight with Sigmon on February 8th but will no doubt be weary of not finishing his boxing career on a loss.
Jones’ current professional record at this time reads 65-9-47KO.
