The Joshua and Parker purses are very, very generous when it comes to the guaranteed sums before any pay per view sales are calculated afterwards.

The news was confirmed unusually on a Sunday morning UK time today that Anthony Joshua and Joseph Parker will throw down on March 31st at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff, Wales.

It has been reported that the agreement this morning includes a guaranteed £15 million for Joshua and £7 million for Parker, per UK tabloids.

That equates $20 million and $9.5 million in US dollars approximately.

Not bad for a day’s work.

While not on the same level of a Floyd Mayweather pay-day, I suspect those amounts will be considerably more after everything (including pay per view buys) are added up when all is said and done.

It will be by far the biggest pay-day of WBO champion Joseph Parker’s career.

Both fighters come into the bout undefeated so the fact neither know how to lose and they both hold world titles, will make it entertaining throughout due to intensity levels alone.
