Fury Reacts To Saunders Win – Explains How Lemieux Fight Will Be Like Him and Anthony Joshua

Tyson Fury reacts to Saunders win over David Lemieux and explains why the fight will be like his and Anthony Joshua’s when the fight.

Fury will apply for his boxing license again in January following previous UKAD issues now behind him. He will do so with a new trainer too in what he is looking at as a fresh start.

Before that however, he was in Canada supporting his friend Billy Joe Saunders this weekend who recorded an outstanding win over David Lemieux.

Speaking to Kugan Cassius of IFL TV afterwards Fury said:

“It becomes a one-sided fight. That there is just a re-run of how me and Joshua will go. He’ll be swinging on all night and not landing anything thing and that’s how the fight will go. So if you want to know how to beat AJ just watch Billy Joe Saunders.”

He added that despite the excellent of Saunders last night, the best is still to come:

“That wasn’t the best Billy Joe Saunders by no shadow of imagination. He’s got more gears, more to come. If he keeps training over the Christmas and maybe get another fight in before May, he’s going to go into that fight (Golovkin or Canelo) on form.”

Plaudits have been coming in from all parts of the boxing world following what was one of the best performances of Billy Joe Saunders’ career.
