Tonight’s Conor Benn brawl was one of the best 6 round professional boxing bouts seen in some time. Fight fans are loving it.
Reaction has been pouring in all over the shop following the bruising encounter that saw both men taste the canvas at different points during the match.
Alas, Benn got the nod on points but he was not at his best as I’m sure he’s admit himself. A tenacious competitor, his reaction to getting hurt was to simply fight back with everything he had.
At times he looked out on his feet and so did his brave foe, but they both managed to survive to the final bell in a war for the ages.
It’s won over a few boxing fans to put it mildly as a spectacle, as did Benn and his French opponent tonight for that matter:
Conor Benn is winning world titles. Love the bloke.

Conor Benn wins 57-54 on points against Cedrick Peynaud after six rounds. A sensational fight ruined by a ridiculous scorecard. #Boxing
