The Katie Taylor and Conor Benn weigh-in results ahead of one of the final boxing cards of the year in the UK which promises fireworks.
The last big boxing show in the UK this year was meant to be the David Haye vs Tony Bellew rematch, but after that fell out tomorrow night is realistically one of the last big cards in the UK for 2017.
And what a year it’s been for two of the star fighters on the bill tomorrow night.
Both Ireland’s Katie Taylor and the UK’s Conor Benn have both had huge years. Knockouts galore and Taylor even winning a world title.
Here were the results of both weigh-ins earlier on with both fighters coming inside the scheduled limit:

An unusual midweek boxing card, but a good one to be fair.
Katie Taylor is quickly become a world star in boxing and possibly has the potential to finally bring women’s boxing where it always has wanted to be – alongside men’s boxing in terms of exposure.
The UFC were able to do it in MMA with Ronda Rousey in recent years. Time will tell if Katie Taylor (in her own way) can do something similar in boxing.
She certainly has the exciting fight-style.
