Debutant Harvey Horn reckons he will be challenging for titles within 12 months as he prepares to make his debut tonight live on BT Sport.

The 22-year-old makes his first professional outing on Frank Warren’s Copperbox show which is headlined by James DeGale and features the likes of Lee Selby, Anthony Yarde and Daniel Dubois on the undercard.

A former Team GB star, Warren has high hopes for his prospect and Horn is hopeful of challenging for titles before the end of 2018.

“I’m not here to play games, I want to fight the best and I don’t want to just have fights for the sake of having fights,” he said.

“Frank Warren has said to me that he expects me to challenge for titles very quickly and I have given myself the next 12 months to make a mark on this division.

“I look at the Flyweight division and it just excites me, I know I can make an impression. I have faith in my ability and look forward to showcasing it to the nation on a massive channel.

“My debut has been a long time coming, my last performance was as an amateur in the Europeans back in April, where me and my coaches thought I produced one of the best performances of my career.

“I’m ready to put on a show tonight, you obviously have to make some adjustments from the amateur to the professional game but I can’t wait to show what I am about.”
