Former heavyweight champion of the world Tyson Fury signs a deal with MTK Global with full details released.

Fury and MTK Global have announced the massive news today in an official statement ahead of Fury’s planned return to the heavyweight division in 2018.

Fury last competed in November of 2015 when he dethroned Wladimir Klitschko in Germany via unanimous points decision but an early return to the ring is now planned for 2018.

Fury mentioned on Twitter yesterday that:

“Massive news coming over the next few days, stay posted!!!”

Now that news has been confirmed officially with the following statement on Twitter:

World heavyweight champions Deontay Wilder and Anthony Joshua from the above are his clear targets as he attempts to unify the heavyweight belts, but he has also mentioned to Tony Bellew today that he wants a piece of him as well upon his return:

Fury is scheduled to complete his UKAD hearing next month and following which if he is successful, is understood to have the backing of the British Boxing Board of Control to re-obtain his professional boxing license.

Other opponents also mentioned as potential fights for his first fight back in the sport have included David Price and Shannon Briggs.

Fury at this time holds a professional boxing record of 25-0-18KO.
