Deontay Wilder sends his UK rival perhaps one of the more strange riddles you’ll come across in the boxing world this year.

The start of early mind games? Quiet possibly.

He’s certainly on the sell at the moment to try to land what would be a fascinating heavyweight unification fight in 2018 between fighters from either side of the pond.

A match that would see two of the division’s biggest hitters throw down in what would surely end in a violent knockout.

Now Wilder has upped the verbal game on Joshua and sent him this hard to work out Tweet:

Odds currently make Joshua a big favorite with the bookies at the moment but some feel this could be good value in terms of backing a Wilder upset, who packs a ferocious punch when he connects.

The pair’s handlers have been in negotiations in recent weeks with talks of possibly doing a two part deal. One fight in the UK and one in the US.

Las Vegas appears to be the front runner for the fight at the moment if it is to take place in the US next year.
