The early Anthony Joshua undercard results from Cardiff, Wales ahead of tonight’s heavyweight title fight between Joshua and Takam.
The non-TV undercard or the preliminary undercard as they say – has been underway the last hour or so.
The first fight of the evening has concluded with a win by knockout for Lawrence Okolie in the 3rd round over opponent from Manchester Adam Williams.
The victory improves Okolie’s record as a pro to 6-0-5KO.
Also in the latest Anthony Joshua undercard results standout prospect Joshua Buatsi from London has gone 3-0 (2KO) in the pros with a stoppage win over Saidou Sall.
The fight went the distance for the first time in Buatsi’s short pro career. He was awarded the decision comfortably 60-54 on points.
The main event will now be switching over to TV shortly on Sky Sports Box Office in the UK/Ireland and on Showtime Sports in the UK.
Here is some of the reaction so far to Buatsi’s win above:
Josh Buatsi is proper class.

Okolie and Buatsi are signed to Joshua, so I think plan was to get them on early after Okolie didn’t get to fight on Wembley bill

Interesting point from journalist Ron Lewis above. The pair could indeed meet in the future one suspects if they keep winning.
Update:
Frank Buglioni won by unanimous points decision to defend his British 175lbs title over Craig Richards.
