Below is the Josh Warrington vs Ceylan KO including the first knockdown that sees the Leeds man fight for the world title next up.
Leeds’ Josh Warrington scored a highly impressive stoppage win last night to set up a mouthwatering IBF featherweight world title shot with Lee Selby next up.
In doing do, he also became the first man ever to stop and beat Denmark’s Dennis Ceylan last night in the pro ranks – in a performance that has earned deserved plaudits all round.
Early on in the bout the contest was relatively even, but as it progressed into the mid rounds hometown man Warrington began to put his stamp on the fight.
Warrington’s superior work rate and punch output began to break down Ceylan and by round 10, Warrington had his man on the floor for the first time.
Following the first knockdown, he sent him back to the canvas. This time with the referee calling a halt to the action all together (hat tip BoxNation Twitter):

26-0 and a world title shot just over the horizon, the future looks very bright indeed for one of Leeds’ favorite fighting sons, Josh Warrington.
Here’s another look from a different angle at the moment Warrington closed the show last night (hat tip Frank Warren Twitter):
