Chris Eubank Jr and Groves take the opportunity to eye one another up and exchange the first of the verbals.
Attention now turns to Eubank Jr and Groves in the super-middleweight division of the World Boxing Super Series following Groves’ fourth round stoppage win this weekend against Jamie Cox.
Chris Eubank Jr won his quarter final in the tournament last week in similarly emphatic fashion – which has now set up a cracking showdown between the pair for January 2018.
Both should be relatively fresh too for the fight considering they both won well inside the distance of their respective bouts, so after a week or two of rest, one would expect training camp to begin all over again for both fighters.
Eubank Jr has already been building the fight today on Twitter:

Following Groves’ win immediately in the ring last night Eubank Jr came into the picture to speak with the commentating team directly with Groves opposite of him.

Their old sparring history seems to be a prevailing theme and talking point of the early build-up so far, with no doubt more stories of what happened from either side due to come out soon, as it usually the case in boxing.
