The heavyweight champion will defends his IBF, IBO and WBA belts against the Bulgarian at the Principlaity Stadium in Cardiff, Wales, on October 28th with an expected attendance of well over 80,000.
It will be the second back to back stadium show for Joshua in 2017 – having sold an astonishing 90,000 tickets for his modern classic with Wladimir Klitschko last April at Wembley Stadium.
The Londoner has been putting in road work this morning and has surrounded himself with quiet the sizeable team, as this video conveys:
Joshua started boxing in 2008 as an amateur for the first time.
When you put that into perspective, he’s still learning on the job and it will be interesting to see what improvements he has made as a fighter over the last six months or so.
His next opponent Kubrat Pulev will be looking to put a spanner in the works however for Joshua’s big fight plans in 2018.
Joshua’s current professional boxing record is 19-0-19KO.
