Floyd Mayweather and Malignaggi appear to have had a plan all along when Malignaggi went to spar with Conor McGregor.
It has been well documented at this stage that ex-Conor McGregor sparring partner Paulie Malignaggi left the McGregor camp on bad terms.
It has now also emerged that that Malignaggi and Mayweather have since been laughing about it and appear to be very ‘buddy buddy’ on the whole subject all along.
Speaking to Fight Hype with has arm around Malignaggi – Mayweather said that Malignaggi called him before agreeing to go to McGregor’s camp asking:
“Do you want me to go to camp?”
To which Mayweather replied:
“I said absof******loutely”
Malignaggi responded:
“Suckers.”
To which Mayweather laughed:
“Me and Paulie are going to sit at the house and talk strategy and talk everything. Don’t you worry. Paulie thank you for going over there like I asked you to do.”
Well, there you have it.
It appears the master of mind games Conor McGregor could very well have been had all along by Mayweather and Malignaggi.
The Irishman has been clear that he doesn’t care what Malignaggi or any potential Mayweather spies in his camp say – as he believes his unique style can’t be prepared for.
