Kell Brook weight coming down well ahead of his world title fight with Errol Spence Jr despite fears of him making the weight.
The Kell Brook weight has been a concern for his supporters ahead of the Errol Spence fight since Brook last competed all the way up at middleweight in his last bout.
That of course was against division number one Gennady Golovkin in September 2016. A brutal fight that saw Brook start off well but ultimately get stopped inside the distance.
It also left the UK boxer with an injured eye that took some time to heal.
Brook has always been a big welterweight too. It’s known within boxing circles that making 147lbs has never been easy for him over the years.
Taking the move up to middleweight against Golovkin into account, the Kell Brook weight 22 days out from his fight with Errol Spence is quite low considering:

In US measurement that works out at just under 154lbs which with 22 days to go is bang on point for Brook.
He’ll be taking on one of the leading new stars in American boxing later this month in Brook’s hometown of Sheffield in an outdoor stadium event.
The above clearly shows just how deadly serious Brook is taking Spence. A cracking fight in store.
