We reached out to the official representatives involved in negotiating the fight for comment – on whether or not the fight is definitely on.

A PBC official told us on a possible Spence vs Brook deal being reached:

“I don’t have any confirmation on this.”

Eddie Hearn’s Matchroom Sport representative told us:

“There’s nothing to announce.”

Make of that that what you will.

But for the meantime, it is not officially confirmed just yet by the guys involved in putting the fight together.

Lets hope it does happen though. What a cracking fight it will be.

Purse bids were initially delayed a week to allow for a deal to be thrashed out between the two camps.

This deal could be very imminent to being signed as we speak, and close to being sent back to the relevant parties involved.

If it does happen – speculation is heavy that it will take place in the UK on May 20th in Brook’s hometown of Sheffield in the UK.
