The WBO super-featherweight world champion will next compete on April 8th against Jason Sosa in a world title unification between the two men.
The WBO and WBA (super) 130lbs titles will both be on the line at the MGM National Harbor in Oxon Hill, Maryland, USA.
Lomachenko will be expected to be the favorite going in, but Sosa also comes into the contest in good form having beaten the UK’s Stephen Smith by unanimous decision in his last outing in 2016.
