Floyd Mayweather speaks on his advice to Adrien Broner recently following some concerning posts that Broner put out on social media, that at the time concerned people due to the suicidal nature of the posts.

Following the concerning posts Broner was then seen spending a lot of time with his old friend and fellow boxer Floyd Mayweaher who was seen gloving him up for sparring here.

But Mayweather has now gone into detail on the Broner situation and has said that it was a very serious one.

Speaking to Ben Thompson of Fight Hype YouTube (hat tip and credit) Mayweather said:

Broner now seems to be getting back to himself and it is anticipated that he will return to the ring on February 11th in the early new year against an opponent to be confirmed.

Mayweather for his part has been heavily linked with a comeback fight in the new year and was recently seen ringside at Manny Pacquiao’s points win over Jessie Vargas in Vegas, prompting speculation that the two might have a rematch in 2017.
