Watch: Devastating Joe Murray Knockout of 2016 Contender

While most might have been watching the world title action in Liverpool in the UK last night, one absolutely sublime Joe Murray knockout went a little under the radar. A possible knockout of the year contender.

Murray (19-2-8KO) is not known particularly for lights out-one punch knockout power, but last night in Denmark in a tough fight against previously undefeated Danish lightweight Rashid Kassem (11-1-8KO), over the course of a few seconds he detonated what can only be described as a right hand out of hell.

Hat tip to Twitter user @RedrumNYC who spotted this:

Murray’s fabulous performance on BoxNation TV last night marked an excellent night of boxing for the channel overall, in what has been a solid year for the channel who continue to show boxing coverage from all around the world on their dedicated boxing TV platform.

Headlining the card last night in Denmark was featherweight Ryan Walsh, who lost a split-decision to Denmark’s to Dennis Cylan who captured the vacant European featherweight title.
