Tyson Fury Reveals How Mind Games Have Beaten Klitschko
Tyson Fury doesn’t seem to be too frustrated with the postponement of his heavyweight title rematch against Wladimir Klitschko and appears to be taking things as they come, in his stride.
In the build-up to the pair’s first showdown back in November, it was documented by some at the time that Fury had gotten under the skin of Klitschko in some aspects with his quotes, unpredictable behaviour and then ultimately – his boxing skills.
Others had previously doubted Fury’s motivation earlier in the year when footage emerged of Tyson looking a bit heavy at a press conference with Klitschko in the UK.
However this was not to be the case, as Fury quickly got himself into fighting shape during the training camp for their rematch – only to see the fight put back to later in the year due to an injury to his ankle.
Speaking to BoxNation this week, Fury insisted that it was all mind games with Kltischko and that he has outdone him in that department:
“It’s all games. I’m the master of disaster, the king of sting. All them things that you want to see, that’s me. The best psychology in the world. I outdone a doctor in mind games, a doctor of psychology – I beat him in mind games. So what does that make me? A professor.”
“So everything I do, I do it for a reason. I don’t just do things off the hook. Everything I done is planned by me and done, to perfection.”
The rematch between the two is expected to be on October 29th but an official announcement is still being awaited.
