Although an official announcement is still being awaited, Peter Fury has let some fans know on Twitter about the new date this week.

Recently Tyson Fury and Wladimir Klitschko’s rematch for the heavyweight title had to be postponed due to an injury to the ankle of Fury.

It is expected that the fight will take place in the same venue of the Manchester Arena in the UK but no date had been confirmed by anyone yet.

This week however Peter Fury when asked by fans on Twitter about what date they should book their hotels for, replied with the following:

This will come as music to the ears of fight fans who are looking forward to the fight and to see if Fury can replicate his success enjoyed last November.

It will almost be a full year that has passed when the two men step into the ring again later this year, a fact that will surely only favour the younger Fury against an older Klitschko.
