Tony Bellew Reveals He Is In Talks For David Haye Fight

The new WBC cruiserweight champion Tony Bellew has labelled David Haye as the ‘Hayefaker’.

The newly crowned champion who recently stopped Illunga Makabu in the 2nd round at Goodison Park in Liverpool is confident that if he lands the same way as he did against Makabu, that David Haye will:

“Go the same way.”

Bellew since winning his title has also recently detailed how he has squarred off with the former heavyweight and cruiserweight world champion before, when in sparring he claimed him and UK heavyweight David Price beat Haye up and that if there was any doubts about his claims, he urged anyone to ask former Haye trainer Adam Booth who watched the spars.

The pair have also had a few verbal spars through the media since Bellew’s title win recently.

In Bellew’s latest interview on television since becoming world champion, he told Sky Sports News that the David Haye fight is being talked about between the two camps at the moment:
