US Boxing vs UFC TV Ratings From Last Weekend

In an entertaining weekend of combat sports UFC pipped boxing in the USA for network television ratings.

Al Haymon’s latest Premier Boxing Champions event aired on NBC television on Saturday night and although it was not one of his biggest in terms of featuring star names , it still did relatively well all things considering.

The card was headlined by standout welterweight prospect Errol Spence Jr who is still building his following at the moment, and the event also featured some solid international fighters and Americans like Gary Russell Jr, Patrick Hyland, Jose Pedroza and Stephen Smith.

Boxing not only went up against a stacked UFC card on Fox which started 30 minutes earlier and that featured big names such as Rashad Evans, but also was competing with a number of other prime time slots for the coveted 18-49 year old demographic in the States on the night:
