Watch: David Haye Suggests Who Next Opponent Might Be

Former WBA heavyweight champion of the world David Haye has said via a social media video who a possibility for his next bout might be on May 21st.

At present, the 02 Arena in London has been booked for the date with an as of yet to be confirmed, official opponent.

However, Haye has revealed that new WBA ‘regular’ titlist Lucas ‘Big Daddy’ Browne appears to be in contention for the HayeDay event, although Browne himself has since poured cold water on Haye’s remarks:

Whatever the case might be, a fight between the pair would likely garner fan interest given Lucas’s new belt holder status, links with the UK via his promoter Ricky Hatton and also Haye’s fame within the UK.

Although Haye took on limited opposition last time out in New Zealand’s Mark de Mori back in January at the same venue, his ticket selling power was still apparent, as he sold out the O2 in London coming off a three and a half year absence from professional boxing.

A fight with Browne would be much more credible and would see two big punching heavyweights throw down. Here’s what Haye’s had to say on social media this week regarding a possible fight:
