Pacquiao Wants To See Golovkin vs Canelo

Manny ‘Pacman’ Pacquiao is the latest from the boxing world to add his weight to calls for the potential middleweight mega fight to take place, all be in it in a rather unusual way.

Manny Pacquiao is scheduled to fight next against Timothy Bradley for the WBO welterweight title on April 29th at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, in what will be their third fight in total.

However away from training, he’s also a keen fan of the boxing landscape overall it turns out.

As reported by John Dennen of Boxing News Online, the Filipino boxing great apparently messaged the Boxing News Online Facebook page himself today (or someone operating the Manny Pacquiao verified Facebook page at least) with a simple, out of the blew, random – but to the point message:

“GGG vs Canelo. I want to watch that.”

Make of it what you will, but an extra voice calling for the fight can only be a good thing, and certainly from the likes of such a heavyweight name within the sport like Pacquiao.

According to latest reports, talks are still ongoing to try to get the fight made once and for all this year.
