The Danny Garcia Guerrero TV ratings (preliminary) are in via the Nielson Company.

Danny Garcia vs Roberto Guerrero’s WBC Welterweight title fight was the first time a boxing match was shown on the Fox Network in the States in the prime time slot (8pm – 10pm) since 1998, a further positive indication of boxing’s returning popularity in the public eye.

The event improved by almost 15% on the Premier Boxing Champions’ last event on prime time in the US (Omar Figueroa vs Antonio DeMarco on Dec 12th 2015) that failed to get over the 2 million viewer mark at the time.
