2016 is shaping up to be a big one in heavyweight boxing, and former heavyweight champion of the world David Haye is looking to be a part of the mix.

Speaking in an interview with Sky Sports over the Christmas period, Haye said he is looking to be a new and improved version of himself at 35 years of age, and after three and a half years out of the ring.
In the time Haye has been injured and out of the ring, another UK heavyweight has burst onto the scene in Anthony Joshua.
Haye spoke of how he would “love” the fight, but must first take care of his comeback opponent Australian Mark de Mori on January 16th at the 02 Arena.
Anthony Joshua is currently coming off the biggest win of his career, a recent 7th round knockout of longtime rival Dillian Whyte on Sky Sports Box Office, and is expected to have a defense of his next April of his British heavyweight title.
Whether or not the Haye and Joshua could collide after that in 2016 remains to be seen, but it would undeniably be a big seller – should it happen.
