Joshua Becomes First Man To Stop Johnson

British Olympic Gold Medalist went through Kevin Johnson like a bulldozer. This guy is one seriously powerful dude.

‘AJ’ advanced his record to 13-0 (13KO) tonight in emphatic fashion, by becoming the first man ever to stop American Kevin Johnson – in two devastating rounds.

The American was lucky to make it out of the first round after a shot sent him crashing through the ropes, only for the bell to save him.

He wasn’t to be as fortunate in the second round, however. The power house that is Anthony Joshua forced the stoppage in only round two. It’s hard to see how this brick-fisted heavyweight train can be stopped at the moment.

Surely this heavyweight beast will be let off the leash soon. No doubt this would have sent shock waves throughout the heavyweight division, a statement of intent.

A fight later in the year against Dillian Whyte will be a step up however, and arguably Joshua’s first genuine test as a professional.

Many will remember that Whyte was the man who beat Joshua in the amateurs, even knocking down ‘AJ’.

Will history repeat itself? Time will tell, come December 2015.
