Olympic Gold Medalist Highlights Important Issue Following Tragic Death

Sometimes us men forget how lucky we are and that we would not be here in the first place without women.

Us men should always remember that women are to be loved, appreciated, cherished and respected, as without them — we would have nothing.

Recently a disturbing story emanating from Ireland involving the tragic killing of a young lady occurred.

One of Ireland’s great boxers Michael Carruth, an Olympic Gold medalist no less, said on Twitter:

All my life I’ve gone running on my own and I’ve never once feared for my safety and that is a privilege that women do not have. This is unacceptable! We as men need to do better.
My sincere condolences go out to Ashling Murphy’s friends, family, colleagues and pupils.

Thoughts and prayers to that young woman and her friends and family.

Curruth, for boxing fans not familiar with him, was a tremendous amateur boxer.

Culminating in Olympic Gold success.

As a professional he held a record of 18-3-12-1 KO.
