Puerto Rican Female Champion Receives Prestigious Honor

Amanda Serrano has been lighting up the boxing world in recent years but perhaps has not gotten enough credit or coverage for her achievements.

She is a complete Puerto Rican fighting machine.

Not only boxing.

A champion in three different combat sports no less:

Superb.

She has now received a high honor from the World Boxing Organization on the island country of Puerto Rico:

Island countries like Puerto Rico and Ireland seem to produce good boxers.

Time and time again.

Serrano one of the greatest ever from Puerto Rico. No doubt about that.

32-year-old Serrano’s professional boxing record stands at 40-1-1-30 KO.

Maybe a fight against Katie Taylor next year could be a big one.

Serrano for now, like Claressa Shields, appears to be competing in MMA for now.

It is up to the networks to put up enough money to get them to back to boxing.
