Former pound for pound number one boxer in the world Floyd Mayweather has arrived at the MGM Grand this evening in Las Vegas ahead of the main event between Manny Pacquiao and Adrien Broner.
It is anticipated that Mayweather will face Pacquiao later in the year in a long awaited rematch.
That said, if Broner were to beat Pacquiao in convincing fashion the bout could be scrapped entirely.
Some have suggested however that if Pacquiao wins tonight Mayweather will jump into the ring and announce the rematch with ‘PacMan’ right there and then.
Ahead of the main event due to start in about one hour’s time from the time of this article – Mayweather has gone back stage to greet Pacquiao:
The main event tonight in the US will be live on Showtime pay per view.
Expect plenty more action from Mayweather similar to the above too as it is understood that he will be in a punditry role for Showtime tonight.
