Ricky ‘The Hitman’ Hatton has been retired from his active professional boxing career for some time now.
He’s received the MBE honor from his native UK for his services to boxing that saw him at one time become a two-weight champion and still to this day probably the most loved fighter that ever lived.
His man of the people, genuine sense of self and time for others brought tens of thousands of loyal, die hard fans abroad with him to the US for many of his big nights and grew the sport massively on his own in the UK and Ireland.
Speaking on social media today he’s revealed that he’s now actually become ‘Lord’ Ricky Hatton in a chance of good fortune.
