Tyson Fury Slams Joshua and Wilder As Two Bums

Tyson Fury was in full flow earlier at today’s press conference in Belfast ahead of his second comeback fight against Francesco Pianeta this coming Saturday.

Fury knows a win this weekend will likely set up a shot at the WBC heavyweight title currently held by Deontay Wilder before the year is out.

Speaking today at the presser, Fury said:

“May I highlight this. Lineal champions from the past returning from long periods of time, 98% of them were unsuccessful returning in their title challenges. Did you know that? Well you do now! Listen it’s going to be a long, hard road and Pianeta is another step in the right direction. But by no forgone conclusion I am going to win every title nice and easy, or so the history books will say. But I do have a terrible habit of breaking the mould.”

He went on to add:

“Well it’s very easy to do, really. All I got to do is beat two bums, basically. Wilder and Joshua and that’s it really. They both haven’t got a boxing brain cell between them so it shouldn’t be too hard for a great boxer like myself.”

No doubt Joshua and Fury will have a reply to that at some stage.

This weekend’s Fury fight will be shown on BT in the UK and on the Showtime YouTube and social media channels for free in the US.
