Highly rated Mikey Garcia is due to return to the boxing ring very soon and although not officially confirmed, the venue for the fight looks to have let things slip a little early.

No opponent or date has been officially announced by the Premier Boxing Champions series yet, but if you go onto the Staples Center website the venue are clearly indicating tickets go on sale for Garcia vs Robert Easter on June 11th:

A clash of undefeated world champions who are in red-hot form should ensure for fireworks in this one.

The above indicates that Easter will move up to super-lightweight for the fight in a bid to become a multi-weight world champion.

A tough ask against the red-hot Garcia but despite Easter moving up in weight, he’ll experience a significant height and reach advantage (8 inches no less) over Garcia.

Garcia has been heavily linked with signing deals with a new promoter recently from the likes of the UFC’s Dana White to English promoter Eddie Hearn.
