Terence Crawford produces one of those special performances that roll around in boxing once in a while to capture all four world title belts.

Boxing has it’s first undisputed champion for the first time in over a decade.

You can’t say in words how important from not just an American standpoint, but a boxing standpoint the fight means.

Last night we saw nine minutes of greatness. We saw nine minutes of planning – then we saw nine minutes of history that will forever remain in our minds.

Julius Indongo came along and gave us a great story, gave us a wishful dream fighter who wanted to be great.

He didn’t want to wait or waste time. He wanted to be the best to which we should salute him for. However from the moment the first punch was thrown, Indongo realised this was a whole new level.

He had faced an opponent that was a class above but still – his courage and pride and kept him trying.

Then there was Terence Crawford who also had not just Nebraska pride but American pride on the line.

This was the moment that everything in his career was building up too.

Crawford with a packed crowd roaring and screaming wearing the Nebraska colors in a sea of red jerseys saying 140lbs on it – made an announcement to the world with a vicious body shot reminiscing to Roy Jones vs Virgil Hill:

The crowd went crazy as we witnessed one man holding all the belts and being crowned undisputed. Tonight boxing won again and 2017 has proven a stellar year for the sweet science overall.
