It marks the first time these two crazy characters will meet in person later today in LA, California in the USA.

The first of their international press conferences this week will kick off at 10pm UK / Irish time, which is 2pm local time (PT) in the afternoon in the US, 5pm on the East coast (ET).

The verbals have already been starting from Conor McGregor in the US yesterday who was making light of Mayweather’s current tax situation, mentioning to TMZ:

“He’s f***** now! He should have paid his taxes and kept my name out of his mouth.”

No doubt this will be a major theme of the first press conference in terms of McGregor’s opening gambit and verbal chess moves towards the American.

It will be up to ‘Money’ to counter the Irishman, who no doubt will have some tricks up his sleeve of his own.

The first face off is expected to capture the world media’s attention later today in what promises to be an absolute frenzy at the Staples Centre in LA.
