UFC Heavyweight champ Stipe Miocic calls out AJ. Anthony Joshua responds in hilarious fashion.
Conor McGregor’s ambitious attempts to dethrone former undisputed boxing star Floyd Mayweather may not be the only time that UFC meets boxing, but it certainly doesn’t look likely that another crossover match will happen anytime soon.
That hasn’t stopped UFC Heavyweight champion Stipe Miocic offering boxing Heavyweight sensation Anthony Joshua a dual on the undercard of the August 26th event.
Miocic was asked about a potential fight during an interview with The MMA Hour, but it is not only fans that have refused to take the American seriously.
On his instagram profile Anthony Joshua responded in a comments section with a touch of Conor McGregor himself:
It seems that AJ has no interest in a crossover match-up in the boxing ring. But when meeting Floyd himself, he jokingly put himself in the run-in for the undercard.
Joshua’s concentration however will be on a likely rematch with Wladmir Klitschko at the end of the year. But in the mean time he has been doing the rounds on TV and on social media, further increasing his huge fan base.
