Thurman vs Garcia Undercard Shaping Up Nicely

The Keith Thurman vs Garcia undercard is now coming together ahead of what potentially could be one of the best nights for American pro boxing in a while.

The main event between two of not just America’s leading young, undefeated welterweights, but two of the best in the world, is a big draw right off the bat for fight fans.

A unification fight years in the making.

Their dislike for each other has been simmering away for sometime and given controversies surrounding Garcia’s father and trainer Angel, the pot is really bubbling ahead of March 4th’s showdown.

News of what fights will also be shown alongside the main event is now becoming more clear too.

Dan Rafael of ESPN has said on Twitter that he believes there will be a light-heavyweight showdown between Poland’s Andrzej Fonfara (28-4-16KO) and the US’ ‘Bad’ Chad Dawson (34-4-19KO).

Dawson will be the man with form coming into the contest, coming off two back to back victories.

While Fonfara is still smarting from defeat to Bernard Hopkins’ conqueror Joe Smith Jr in his last outing in the ring in June 2016.

An interesting match up in the 175lbs division for sure.

The Thurman vs Garcia undercard is now starting to take shape ahead of fight night which will be held at the Barclays Center in Brookyln, New York.
