Mixed martial arts and UFC stars Conor McGregor and Ronda Rousey both suffered losses in recent times and Mayweather says he never said anything negative about the pair despite his name and the two UFC fighter’s constantly been linked in the media.

There was an interesting few memes online doing the rounds recently relating to a subject called ‘The Floyd Mayweather Curse.’

Essentially, this so called curse related to previous MMA athletes like Conor McGregor and Ronda Rousey who had previously being outspoken towards the former boxing great in the media, and that their eventual losses and fall from superstar statuses was some type of a karma affect for calling out Mayweather in the media in the first place.

Here’s one such colourful graphic that was floating about, that also featured Amir Khan and Manny Pacquiao:

I’m not one for superstition and paid little attention to it, but such was the public acclaim that both Rousey and McGregor received in recent times for the very well deserved, talented exploits in the UFC, the internet well, took the story and ran with it like it tends to do.

On the subject of the MMA duo, Floyd Mayweather recently came out and made a very intriguing statement with the folks at Fight Hype – where he said he never once said anything negative about the two.
