Talks with Nathaniel’s camp this week have stated that the young prospect is coming off a 5 month layoffdue to a hand injury. Peter Stokes, Nathaniel Coach says:

“Nathaniel is really looking to utilise his hand speed in this fight. With the layoff we have made some changes to his training program, and are looking to showcase these things next week.”

His camp also says it is now time to start getting some international fights and big domestic fights, with Stokes adding:

“Not many people in Australia want to step in the ring with Nathaniel, but one fight we are looking at is a fight with Joel Brunker.”

The main event is one to really satisfy your taste for boxing, with an eight round super welterweight state title clash between Jamie ‘The Welsh dragon’ Weetch 7-2-0 (4ko), and Alberto ‘Go loco’ Howell 8-0-3 (4ko), both from Perth.

In what the fans have dubbed as boxer vs puncher, this fight genuinely has it all.

Talks with Weetch this week have said:

“I think Alberto is a good bloke and a slick boxer, but I will be going in there to put a lot of pressure on Him, and take him to deep water. However if he thinks I am going to come in and brawl with him, he’s wrong. I will be giving him a lesson in boxing.”

Alberto, the more experienced of the two, who says he in the shape of his life for this fight is promising to be too slick for the big hitting Weetch.
