During a time of war for the planet, it is clear Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei is a threat to the global order for a number of reasons.
- He has a long history of supporting terrorism and militant groups around the world. Iran has been accused of providing financial and military support to Hezbollah, Hamas, and other terrorist groups. These groups have been responsible for numerous attacks against civilians and Western interests.
- He is a vocal critic of the United States and its allies. Khamenei has repeatedly called for the overthrow of the U.S.-backed government in Saudi Arabia and has threatened to destroy Israel. His rhetoric has inflamed tensions in the region and has made it more difficult to resolve conflicts peacefully.
