Ways for Ukraine and its allies to counter Russia in Kherson head-on militarily

It is time for Ukraine to fight fire with fire in East and South Ukraine.

  • Launch a major offensive to retake Kherson. This would be a risky move, as it would require Ukraine to commit a significant number of troops and resources to the battle. However, if successful, it would be a major blow to Russia and could help to turn the tide of the war.
  • Launch a series of smaller-scale attacks on Russian forces in Kherson. These attacks could be used to wear down Russian forces, disrupt their supply lines, and create chaos and confusion.
  • Provide Ukraine with more advanced weapons and equipment. This would give Ukraine a better chance of success in any military operation against Russia.
  • Impose a no-fly zone over Ukraine. This would make it more difficult for Russia to resupply and reinforce its forces in Kherson.
  • Provide Ukraine with more intelligence on Russian troop movements and activities. This would help Ukraine to plan and execute more effective attacks against Russian forces.

It is important to note that there is no guarantee of success for any of these options. Russia has a significant military presence in Kherson, and it would be a difficult battle to win. However, if Ukraine and its allies are able to mount a successful counteroffensive, it could be a major turning point in the war.

In addition to the military options listed above, there are also a number of non-military measures that Ukraine and its allies can take to counter Russia in Kherson. These include:

  • Imposing economic sanctions on Russia. This would put pressure on the Russian economy and make it more difficult for Russia to finance its war effort.
  • Diplomatically isolating Russia. This would make it more difficult for Russia to get the support it needs from other countries.
  • Providing humanitarian aid to the people of Kherson. This would help to alleviate the suffering of the people of Kherson and show the world that Ukraine is committed to their well-being.

By taking a comprehensive approach to countering Russia in Kherson, Ukraine and its allies can increase their chances of success.
