In the Donbas it is being reported Russia are using tactics such as:
Indiscriminate fire leading to loss of civilian life. Certainly which will lead to the loss of a huge number of Russian soldiers.
A few ways to counter today:
- Use counter-battery radars to target and destroy Russian artillery. Counter-battery radars can detect the location of enemy artillery and then direct Ukrainian artillery fire to destroy it. This would help to reduce the amount of indiscriminate fire that Russia is using.
- Use drones to identify and target Russian targets. Drones can fly over the battlefield and identify Russian targets, such as tanks, armored vehicles, and artillery. This information can then be used to direct Ukrainian fire to destroy these targets.
- Use anti-tank guided missiles to destroy Russian tanks and armored vehicles. Anti-tank guided missiles can be fired from both ground and air platforms and can destroy Russian tanks and armored vehicles. This would help to reduce the number of Russian casualties.
- Use anti-air weapons to shoot down Russian aircraft. Anti-air weapons can be used to shoot down Russian aircraft, such as fighter jets and helicopters. This would help to reduce the number of Russian casualties and would also help to deter Russia from using indiscriminate fire and heavy weaponry.
And:
- Use sabotage and guerrilla warfare to disrupt Russian supply lines. Sabotage and guerrilla warfare can be used to disrupt Russian supply lines by damaging roads, bridges, and railways. This would make it difficult for Russia to resupply its troops and would also make it difficult for Russia to evacuate its wounded.
- Use cyberattacks to disrupt Russian communications and infrastructure. Cyberattacks can be used to disrupt Russian communications and infrastructure by attacking Russian websites, servers, and power grids. This would make it difficult for Russia to coordinate its attacks and would also make it difficult for Russia to respond to Ukrainian attacks.
More heavy duty tactics:
Last but not least:
- Use human intelligence (HUMINT) to gather information about Russian positions and movements. HUMINT is information that is collected by human sources, such as spies or informants. This information can be used to identify Russian targets and to plan Ukrainian attacks.
- Use psychological warfare to demoralize Russian troops. Psychological warfare can be used to demoralize Russian troops by broadcasting messages that undermine Russian morale. These messages can also be used to encourage Ukrainian troops and to boost their morale.
- Use deception to confuse and mislead Russian forces. Deception can be used to confuse and mislead Russian forces by using false information or by creating false appearances. This can be done by using fake news, by creating fake websites, or by using fake radio broadcasts.
- Use surrender to reduce the number of Russian casualties. Surrender can be used to reduce the number of Russian casualties by encouraging Russian soldiers to surrender. This can be done by offering Russian soldiers safe passage to surrender or by promising them humane treatment if they surrender.
