NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg spoke in Netherlands today during the war.
He confirmed a short time ago in Eindhoven at the NATO Europe air base in Netherlands:
“Since Russia’s brutal invasion of Ukraine these tanker transport aircraft have helped protect NATO’s Eastern Flank. Last year alone the fleet flew more than 500 missions. Refueling hundreds of NATO fighter jets that keep allied airspace safe.”
He added:
“Later in the year they will be deployed in the Middle East to fight ISIS.”
