Very Nervous Putin Makes Little Sense In Russia’s Economy
Russian President Putin gave a press conference a short time ago.
Ahead of nearly the 1 year anniversary of his war in Ukraine.

A war that caused global suffering for nations and people around the world. On his economic policy he seemed very hesitant and was speaking very quickly:
“I would like to point out this is not a money printing policy. All of that is based on market, eh, principles. As at the end of 2022 the GDP has reduced. Yesterday that information was published.”

He failed to mention using migrants in forced labor when saying:
“A few years ago it was just 60 million (Rubles) total crop. We did not allow for the labor market to drop either. Today in the current market difficulties our labor market is something better than it used to be.”

Not taking account the exodus of Russians on employment he added and even though the pandemic is still ongoing during the war stated:
“Pre-pandemic we had 4.7 per cent unemployment now we have 3.6 per cent. Everything is changing very quickly now. Our future depends on how we use these opportunities.”

Also then omitting Ukrainian kids smuggled to Russia and forced passport seizures of Ukrainians given Russian passports – he added:
“We need to remove any intergovernmental conflicts within the government structure. Everything has to be aimed at the objective, the result. We need to stimulate small family run business. This is a win. new kindergartens, new schools, new scientific breakthroughs, this is a win.”

Areas to focus on – he spoke of ports that continue to be blocked from getting grain to poor countries among others:
“First of all we have to establish more international connections and new logistical roots. We will continue to develop the ports of the Black sea and Azov sea.”

How Putin Gave Away His Main Way Of Funding His Failing War
The main thing without doubt was this from today.
Russians will be isolated pretty much from the world.

Putin wants to tax them more in Russia to fund his war:
“Starting from this year Russian companies will be able to lower their tax burden through purchasing domestic IT solutions. So every ruble that invests in buying this domestic products their tax base will be reduced.”

Adding weirdly:
“We will look deeply into this this is a good solution which will stimulate the economy. The third is an import point on the agenda new sources of finances and investments. Our domestic banks are stable in 2022. We have saw that the financing of corporate sector has grown compared to 2021 11.7 per cent in 2021. 13.8 per cent in 2022.”

He added strangely then:
“For citizens to invest from within the country and make money within the country.”
He focused on new investment schemes as Russia gets isolated form international banks soon. Planned for April 2023.

He also told students that can consider staying in education despite the fact documents clearly show he is planning a mass conscription of Russian kids and students soon:
Moreover, he spoke of private pension schemes destined to fail:
“Invest in private pensions to the tune of 2.2 million rubles, then we need separate solutions are needed in order to attract capital to the high tech sector.”

Despite Yandex, all major tech and many leaving – Cloudflare should also fully leave soon or face huge problems for Cloudflare.
Targeting the west he then went into a speech despite all his family’s lives and places in the West, now all of a sudden he doesn’t like the West during his war:
“It is not enough to just copy their models (in the West). Our economy became western orientated and generally we became the source of commodities but the new forming Russia business was aimed naturally so we were aimed at extracting quick profit. It was just the sale of resources of oil and gas and timber and so on, and money was not invested into long term projects – and in order to break this negative tendency we needed for years.”

He basically said he can only do this internally in Russia now:
“We need massive state investment. We have achieved results however I would like to emphasize the conditions which our technologies were invested in (are not good now).”

He again back peddled on his life in the West:
“Unfortunately instead of expanding our manufacturing and creating employment in our country and capital was spent on yachts and so on, but the first wave was spent on consuming western goods. Where you have the riches you have your children, education and the future. It was very difficult for the state to prevent this so we lived in that market.”

Nervously adding while visibly shaking many times:
“Latest conditions suggest the West was just a ghost of being a safe haven. They (Russians who left Russia) saw that they just got robbed in the West. Many of you remember I just kind of joked that you will be running around western courts trying to save your wealth in the west and this is exactly what happened. I’d like to add an important point that none of the citizens of the country that those lost massive bank accounts in the West.”

Trembling at points when he realized most Russians don’t want a Putin’s Russia future:
“Yes everyone has a choice some people want to live onto the rest of their life in a rested palace with a rested account somewhere abroad. It is there right and we do not attempt to attack this but we need to understand that to the West that these people are second class persons
and all of these titles will not help here.“

Desperately trying to convince people who clearly did not want to be there that:
“They need to understand they are second class citizens there. There is another choice, to be with your motherland to work for the benefits of your compatriots. These entrepreneurs are plentiful this is where the future of our business everyone needs to understand that the sources of wealth of the future should be only here in Russia.”
He delivered those remarks bearing in mind that he has made poor Russian people some of the poorest in the entire world.

Adding that he wants to keep money in Russia now (although there won’t be any trade there hardly):
“The money that is obtained here has to be spent on the development internally of this country. We have to renew our approach to training new personnel’s work and we talked to the council of education about priorities. That we have to focus on obtaining very specific scientific results. At the basis of new technologies there is always new science.”
